Kodak arrives this year with its new camera, the Kodak DX3215 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 14/8/01. The Kodak DX3215 has been launched at a price of 200in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. The DX3215 gets a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kodak DX3215 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 1.2 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DX3215 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " and uses a RGB color filter. Kodak added a digital zoom on its DX3215 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 75 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DX3215 is 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The Kodak DX3215 has an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the DX3215 measures 1.6 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
