Kodak strikes back with its new conception, the Kodak DC3400 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 01/8/00. The Kodak DC3400 has been launched at a price of 500in North America, a very fair price. The DC3400 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1760 x 1168. It also supports a lower resolution of 896 x 592. The image ratio (width / height) on the Kodak DC3400 is set at 3:2, for a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DC3400 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.76 " with a RGB color filter.

Kodak added a digital zoom on its DC3400 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DC3400 was set at 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/755 seconds. The Kodak DC3400 has an internal storage space of 20 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Compact Flash. The LCD screen available on the DC3400 measures 1.8 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television.
