Kodak arrives this year with its new camera, the Kodak DX3700 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 14/8/01. The Kodak DX3700 has been launched at a price of 219in North America, a very fair price. The DX3700 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2160 x 1440. The image ratio (w/h) on the Kodak DX3700 has been set at 3:2, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DX3700 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Kodak added a digital zoom on its DX3700 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DX3700 is 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1200 seconds. The Kodak DX3700 camera has an internal storage of 8 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the DX3700 measures 1.6 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
