Kodak impresses with its new model, the Kodak DX7440 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 04/5/04. The Kodak DX7440 will be sold at a retail price of 350in the US, a very fair price. The DX7440 gets a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1656 x 1242, 1200 x 900. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kodak DX7440 is set at 4:3, for a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DX7440 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Kodak implemented a digital zoom on the DX7440 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DX7440 is 64 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Kodak DX7440 has an internal storage space of 32 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the DX7440 measures 2.2 ".
