Kodak strikes back with its new camera, the Kodak LS443 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 23/9/02. The LS443 delivers a maximum resolution of 2448 x 1632. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2160 x 1440, 1800 x 1200, 1224 x 816. The image ratio (width / height) on the Kodak LS443 is 3:2, for a total of 4.0 mega pixels. Kodak included a digital zoom on the LS443 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 70 cm.

The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the LS443 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Kodak LS443 has an internal storage space of 16 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the LS443 is measuring 1.8 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
