Kodak launches its new model, the Kodak DX3500 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in North America on the 23/4/01. The Kodak DX3500 has been launched at a price of 300in North America, a great price for such a camera. The DX3500 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1800 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 900 x 600. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kodak DX3500 is 3:2, making a camera of 2.2 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DX3500 is a CCD measuring only 1/2 " using a RGB color filter. Kodak included a digital zoom on the DX3500 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 75 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DX3500 is 1/8 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1200 seconds. The Kodak DX3500 camera has an internal storage of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Compact Flash Type I + Internal. The LCD screen of the DX3500 is measuring 1.8 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television.
